This course is specifically designed for those who work with children or are responsible for their care, such as childminders, nursery staff, and school teachers. It covers essential first aid techniques and knowledge tailored to the unique needs of infants and children.

Learning Style

The course combines 6 hours of online learning with 6 hours of classroom-based training, providing flexibility in both timing and delivery.

The online portion features interactive modules on topics like the role of a paediatric first aider, managing incidents with children, and delivering basic life support to infants and children.

The classroom component allows for hands-on practice and assessment of key skills, such as CPR, dealing with choking, and managing bleeding.
