Our comprehensive Epilepsy Awareness course is designed for those who care for or are responsible for individuals with epilepsy. The training covers a range of seizure types, potential triggers, and appropriate treatments. We can also incorporate individual care plans as part of the training, if required.

This course will guide participants on how to respond to seizures in various settings and circumstances. It also includes instruction on the correct administration, storage, and safety guidelines for Buccal Midazolam.
This is an essential course for any care staff who support or oversee the care of individuals living with epilepsy.
By the end of the training, participants will be equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to create a safe and effective environment for individuals with epilepsy, following best practice guidelines.
For those who require it, the course can also cover rescue medication administration techniques, including Buccal Midazolam and Rectal Diazepam – please enquire for further details.
The course lasts approximately 2.5 hours, and certification is valid for three years.
